Types and terms of air purifier filters
If you want to find the right air purifier quickly, if you want to know more about the meaning of specific functions of the air purifier, then you need to know the type and terms of air purifier filter.

Here we will introduce you to the types and terms of air purifier filters.
.- Pre-filter: can prevent large particles from damaging the main filter, most of the pre-filters are washable and reusable;

.- True HEPA filter: This is the highest standard air filter. In order to carry this label, the product must comply with the strict regulations of the US Department of Energy (DOE) and capture at least 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns;

.- BioGS HEPA filter: This is a more advanced version of the True HEPA filter, specifically designed to reduce the accumulation of particles on the filter and reduce the quality of the particles over time. If properly maintained, the BioGS HEPA filter can be used continuously for 18 to 36 months;

.-HEPA filter: This is a lower version of the True HEPA filter, which does not meet the above-mentioned standards established by the US Department of Energy (DOE). It can capture particles as small as 1 micron, 2 microns, 5 microns or larger;

.- Activated carbon (or carbon) filter: very porous, with a large surface area, so that it can absorb odorous particles and gases;

.- Ion generator: emit negative ions into the air, bond with positively charged particles such as dust, bacteria and allergens, and then fall to the ground. The generator does not need to be replaced, but some products use electrostatic collecting plates to absorb falling particles, which can be cleaned and reused;

.- UV-C Light: UV stands for ultraviolet, which is a part of the electromagnetic spectrum that constitutes electromagnetic radiation, including light, radio and X-rays. UV-C is a sub-band of ultraviolet rays, which can kill microorganisms, but is completely harmless to humans;

.- Ozone: This is a highly reactive molecule known for killing bacteria, viruses and removing odors. However, inhalation of excessive amounts is harmful to human health, and may cause symptoms such as decreased function, chest pain, cough, shortness of breath, and throat irritation;

.- Plasmawave technology: Safely destroy pollutants in the air without generating harmful ozone. Through an electric pulse that generates positive and negative ions, the air is in a plasma state, which combines with water vapor to form hydroxyl free radicals, which attack bacteria, molds, viruses, chemical gases and other pollutants;

- Smart opening function: Allows to control the air purifier through mobile devices equipped with related APP, can set up tasks such as scheduled tasks and timers, and can also track the purification effect of the filter;

.- Clean・Cel antibacterial treatment: prevent the growth of bacteria, molds and fungi, help extend the life of the filter, and reduce the odor caused by microorganisms;

.- Smart sensor: monitor the air quality in the room and adjust itself to eliminate pollutants;

.- Light sensor: monitor the light level in the room, too dark will trigger the air purifier to enter sleep mode, making it quieter and more energy-efficient, suitable for night use.
